I began trying to learn Dutch a couple years ago in an attempt to reconnect with my family heritage. I started with Rosetta Stone and quickly realized it would not be enough to get me to a functional level of fluency. I needed a real teacher.
I began searching the internet and got connected with Gracy. She was the most enthusiastic teacher to respond to my initial emails and I knew she was the one I wanted to go with. Her passion, intuitive teaching abilities, and happiness created the perfect learning environment for me and I saw results almost immediately and I have continued to see rapid progressions. She makes learning the language fun and I look forward to our lessons every week.
With Gracy my sentence composition, understanding, and vocabulary has improved dramatically. Now I can have a full hour long lesson entirely in Dutch and comprehend all of it. I also dream in Dutch now too. Working with Gracy was the best decision I made in forwarding my language learning and she’s also become a dear friend. I love learning from her!!

Having one-on-one tutoring from Gracy is invaluable, as she quickly figured out what exactly I needed to work on and built a tailored lesson plan to suit my needs.
Gracy gives me individual attention and focuses on the areas I struggle with. This is something I could not have got from a group Dutch class - and I learn more in one hour a week with Gracy than I did in a 5 hour per week group course. We also have a lot of fun together and she is a very inspiring teacher and friend.

Working with Gracy not only improved my Dutch language knowledge and skills but also added priceless benefits to my personal development. I learned how to study the small details to create a bigger impact, I also learned how to focus on the important things to support speaking in a new language.
Before working with Gracy, I tried self-learning tools such as Dutch grammar books and some online learning websites, however, I was not able to speak it properly, even basic sentences. Moreover, I didn’t have enough confidence to express my sentences to native speakers. Even though I knew what to say in Dutch, I was not speaking up due to the lack of self-confidence I felt. Now, I have gained both language skills and confidence so I can express myself without hesitating in Dutch. I try to speak more and more everyday, whenever I have a chance.
My Dutch grammar has been improved significantly. I have learned how to express my thoughts using the same structures but in a variety of ways depending on the situation. I have gained self-confidence and taking a deeper into the smaller details has had a huge impact on my ability.

Practicing the language with a native speaker helps build confidence towards fluent speaking. Gracy is really cheerful and engaging, which makes learning entertaining and fun.
Before, I was good at grammar but not so good at listening and speaking. Gracy knows your strengths and weaknesses in the language and focuses on the parts that need improvement. Now, I speak faster and with more confidence. I have learned to speak more in the public and read more Dutch news, articles, etc.
Gracy encourages me to use more Dutch phrases and filler words that you hear quite often in your daily life in the Netherlands. That is a definite plus because my speaking sounds more natural, and individual to me.

I love the flexibility I have with scheduling the lessons. I can accommodate all daily tasks the way I want which with 9 to 5 job is essential. The course is a well-tailored approach where lessons are made according to your skills level. Genius! This, and also a friendly atmosphere makes you feel motivated for more!
Before I joined the course I was not sure about the correctness of Dutch words and their word order, or grammar and had limited vocabulary. Within a few short months, this was steadily improved. I was able to understand the Dutch language patterns and make sentences in the correct way using the right tenses. I also built up my vocabulary with more everyday words and phrases that were very useful!
I can see a massive transformation in my use of grammar, vocabulary, and the structuring of all my tenses.
